Meet Your Broker
Greg Janes
President
Greg has over 25 years of insurance experience as an insurance broker and self employed
business owner.
Greg started his insurance career in claims which provided invaluable experience in
understanding the importance of customer service and having proper coverage and risk
management practices in place.
Greg is a Chartered Insurance Professional and currently has 2 insurance industry accredited
professional designations.
Greg has previously served as President of the Ottawa Insurance Brokers Association where
under his leadership was awarded “Affiliate of the year” by the Insurance Brokers Association
of Ontario.
Greg has served as Chair of the Waterloo Insurance Brokers Council and has the distinction of
being the longest tenured member of the advisory council.
Greg has extensive sales experience in business development providing group insurance
programs for many major employers and nationally recognized associations with head offices
predominantly located in Ottawa area. Greg has an keen interest in Human Resource
management and understands its importance in the workplace and how it continue to evolve.
Greg’s approach to insurance is all about developing long term relationships and believes
strongly in personal growth and constant improvement is the key to a successful and
rewarding work life balance.
Greg believes in volunteering and giving back to community. Greg organized a team of Ottawa
Insurance Brokers that climbed Machu Pichu for a local charity and his bucket list includes
walking the Appalachian Trail.
Greg’s other Interests include Holistic Heath and wellness, Nutrition and the many benefits of
meditation.
